Teacher Assessment and SATS Results

At Hardwick Primary we report our teacher assessment for the children at the end of Year 2 (end of Key Stage One) and at the end of Year 6 (end of Key Stage Two, when our pupils will leave and go to secondary school).

 

EYFS Foundation Stage (2018)

Pupils attain a Good Level of Development (GLD) if they score expected or exceeding in all Primary Goals plus all Literacy and Maths Goals. Average total points score (ATPS) is the average score for all goals added together.

The school hosts for the Local Authority, one of three Key Stage 1 Specialist Speech and Language Communication Centres in Suffolk. The pupils in the Centre all have an Education Health Care Plan for significant speech and language disorders.

The results below reflect the attainment of just the mainstream Year 2 pupils only (which excludes the Speech and Language Communication Centre pupils, who because of their special educational needs, can negatively affect the overall results at the end of Key Stage 1).
