Curriculum Statement

Hardwick’s Curriculum 

The curriculum and the effective implementation of that curriculum is at the heart of Hardwick Primary School. All children, whatever their ability, need or starting point are entitled to a broad and balanced curriculum rich in knowledge and experience. The pupils at Hardwick Primary school are supported to achieve their full potential and beyond through the provision of a cohesive and carefully planned curriculum, rich in substantive knowledge. We have used the aims and objectives in the National Curriculum as our minimum standard and have added to these in our own curriculum design.

 Our curriculum is designed to inspire enthusiasm for learning, to ensure achievement and to nurture pupil health and well-being. We aim to develop independent, creative and inquisitive learners who gain the confidence, resilience and skills needed to be learners for life and responsible citizens for the future.
